The Jungle Book KIDS Branding

In 2016, I had the opportunity to refresh The Jungle Book KIDS brand. The Jungle Book KIDS is a program that is developed for elementary schools to introduce the world of theater in the classroom, while providing the tools necessary to produce their very own production of The Jungle Book. Each ShowKit includes kid-friendly scripts, a Director's Guide, a piano/vocal score, fully orchestrated rehearsal and performance CDs, a choreography DVD, and a family guide to theater.
The main focus of the design was to create a simple trademark, with striking iconography. Based on the sacred betel leaf from the Indian Jungle, the idea of sliced leaves became a vivid characteristic throughout the overall design. Once the logo was in place, several traditional and digital illustration techniques were layered throughout the entire ShowKit.
